The Parish Finance Council was created to assist the Pastor in the Financial Operations of the parish. This assistance includes Capital Improvements, Budgeting, and the preparation of financial information that will be presented to the members of our parish.
The Parish Finance Council consists of women and men from Holy Redeemer parish that have experience in Accounting, Capital Budgeting, Financial Budgeting, Strategic Planning and are dedicated to providing financial information on a timely basis to the parishioners of Holy Redeemer Parish.
Mildred Hastbacka
In addition to her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Brown University, Mildred Hastbacka has an M.S. degree from Northeastern University's Graduate School of Professional Accounting. She has served as a business manager for more than twenty years in the chemicals and industrial products industries, with experience in preparing annual and five-year product sales plans and in developing financial justifications for capital appropriations requests and R&D investments.
David P. Holden
David is a retired school business official having served as an officer in both local and state organizations in Connecticut. He moved to Chatham full-time in 2012 and attends Holy Redeemer along with his wife, Janet, who is President of the Holy Redeemer Woman’s Club. He also serves as Treasurer of the Monomoy Yacht Club and enjoys boating and tennis. He is the father of three children with seven grandchildren living in the Greater Boston area.
Robert Oliver
Robert Oliver has been a parishioner of Holy Redeemer for over thirty-five years. He has eighteen years of Catholic education culminating in a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston College. Prior to moving to Chatham full-time in 2002, Bob was active as a volunteer at previous parishes. He has considerable experience in finance, non-profit fund-raising, bookkeeping and accounting. For the past ten years, he has served as usher at Holy Redeemer and Treasurer of the Holy Redeemer conference of St. Vincent de Paul.
Kathleen Colucci
Kathleen (Kathy) Colucci has been a parishioner of Holy Redeemer since 2015. She has a bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University and an MBA from Pitt. Kathy has 36 years of financial experience at IBM and is familiar with religious non-profits as she is the current Board Chair of Mt. Irenaeus, a Franciscan Mountain Retreat in West Clarksville, N.Y. Kathy is a member of the Bereavement Ministry at Holy Redeemer. She also supports the HR Business Manager weekly in recording collections.
Patrick O'Reilly
Patrick graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and worked his entire career in mortgage banking, retiring in 2023. He has extensive experience in loan origination and managing a large retail mortgage operation in New England. He and his wife, Rosemary, have lived in Chatham full time since 2020, after raising their family in Medfield MA. They have 2 adult sons. Patrick also is a lector at the 8am Sunday Mass and the 8am Monday weekday Mass. He is also a member of the local Knights of Columbus. Rosemary is the co-president of the Holy Redeemer Women’s Club amongst her other ministries. Patrick is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling to Hawaii with Rosemary.
